HONE your floral design STYLE

Instruction blends solid art and design principles with relevant, current aesthetics and innovative, sustainable methods.

Two-day customized floral intensives are offered in my workshop in Ann Arbor, Michigan and are open to all who are passionate about furthering their floral design skills.

TWO DAYS OF
IMMERSIVE LEARNING

Full Floral Days

Both days will start at 9:30 AM and finish at 5:30 PM, with a refreshing one-hour lunch break. This is your time to dive deep into the world of floral design, tailored specifically to your interests and aspirations.

Curate Your Curiosity

Select six design topics ( below ) that spark your curiosity to create your own learning experience. This is your opportunity to explore, inquire, and truly immerse in the subjects that matter to you. Remember, this time is dedicated to nurturing your curiosity and all questions are warmly welcomed!

Customized Flower Selection

A generous flower bar will be created with your preferences in mind, using special, hand selected flowers- locally sourced as the season allows. At the end of your intensive, you are welcome to take the compositions you made and any leftover flowers home with you.

Capture Your Work

Photographs of you with your work ( taken by me ) will preserve your progress and achievements. To build your professional portfolio, I will photograph your pieces on a local model.

Wealth of Resources

Enjoy a bounty of resources including an extensive selection of flowers, and access to tools, vessels, props, and structures. Everything in my studio is available for you to use to create incredible compositions.

Studio intensives are private educational experiences tailored to address your specific curiosity and design needs. Instruction blends solid art and design principles with relevant, current aesthetics and innovative, sustainable methods. 

Two-day customized floral intensives are offered in my workshop in Ann Arbor, Michigan and are open to all who are passionate about furthering their floral design skills.

To add to the investment in your new skills, I’ll capture your work to feature in your portfolio - my hope is that you can create the floral art you want to see!

  • Two-day studio intensives are $4850 USD. Please note payments are due upon registering and are non refundable.

    Travel and accommodations are not included.

  • Lunch, snacks, a generous selection of flowers, use of tools, vessels, props, structures and my studio space for styling your completed pieces.

    To capture your work, photography ( by me ) and a model are also included.

  • Ann Arbor Michigan is a vibrant college town full of tasty restaurants, parks, museums and locally owned shops. Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport ( DTW ) is approximately 25 miles away ( 30 minute drive ) from city center. Please find a list of local hotels and favorite spots of mine here.

  • I suggest selecting a total of 6 design topics as the focus of your intensive, but note that this time is for you. You are welcome to select the same topic for additional interest. I encourage curiosity and all questions are welcome!

  • In addition to my guidance and studio space, I’m happy to provide a selection of props and tools for you to use. You can browse here.
